It is a powerful tool to manage variety of broadleaf weeds very effectively. It also brings synergy with other herbicides as tank mix & can be used as a post emergent herbicide in directed application in tea.
Mode of Action
Duvelon® belongs to class pyrimidinedione, It is a PPO inhibitor, inhibits the activity of protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase (PPO) & prevents chlorophyll formation. After the application, it quickly absorbed through weed’s root, shoot and leaves. It inhibits a key step in chlorophyll biosynthesis which results in rapid loss of cell membrane integrity leading to cellular leakage, tissue necrosis and ultimately death of the broadleaf weeds.
